President Zelensky's speech showed Sunak and Johnson what real leadership looks like.

The Ukrainian President electrified Parliament with his display of personality, canny communication skills and raw courage.

As the winter sun streamed through the stained glass window of Westminster Hall, its rays formed a halo around Volodymyr Zelensky’s head. The array of MPs of all parties standing before him, their faces seemingly reflected in his light, were certainly in awe. But after their whistles and cheers died down, and their snapshot smartphones were lowered, Zelensky made plain that his was a halo hard earned.
